Awards at Doctors 2.0 & You 2011: Start-ups & Posters
Start-up Contest
Start-Ups had the chance to be seen and heard by category leaders and to network in the 2.0 and Social Media world. They benefitted from a link on this site, presence in the program documents and post-conference coverage. They also had a chance to win an award and a sponsorship position at the 2012 conference.
Candidates had to be registered attendees, representing an eHealth start-up, submitting to our jury answers to questions below and approved by our conference advisors. Start-up is defined as a commercial or a non-profit entity whose service was created no earlier than 1/1/09. The start-up’s service or product must benefit doctors and their patients.
- What health or health system problem are you trying to solve ?
- How does your tool/service benefit doctors and patients?
- What are your results to-date?
- What is the business model?
Start-ups also pitched their service in the plenary.
Two types of awards were attributed to the Top 3 Start-ups : Jury Award and Attendees’ Vote. To view the winners, please click here.
