PatientsLikeMe was created in 2004 in Boston, by three MIT engineers, brothers, for the purpose of enabling patients to share healthdata. Today, PatientsLikeMe covers more than 1000 conditions and is a reference for data sharing platforms. 170 000 patients are enrolled. Paul Wicks, PhD, R&D Director for PatientsLikeMe, kindly agreed to the video interview, realized by Muriel Londres, during his stay in Paris for the 2012 Doctors 2.0 & You conference.
